SBCTC-ITD
Mission and Role
The State Board for Community and Technical Colleges - Information Technology Division (SBCTC-ITD) is a public entity responsible for providing
information technology support services to the Washington State Community
and Technical Colleges.
SBCTC-ITD's mission
and purpose are to:
- Develop,
acquire and support a common suite of administrative applications including
financial, financial aid, payroll/personnel, and student management
systems for use by the colleges.
- Provide
consistent and consolidated reporting on behalf of the college system
to satisfy state and federal mandates.
- Aggregate
the collective purchasing power of the colleges for cost-effective access
to technology products and services.
SBCTC-ITD works
cooperatively with the colleges to establish service levels and provide
the resources necessary to support the colleges' administrative computing
functions.
