Take—Guidelines for Distance Learning and Libraries—to the Distance Learning Council and to the Instruction Commission support legislative efforts for state funding of databases—then work collaboratively.

Work with Suanne Carlson, Director of Distance Learning, SBCTC, to define library or "digital library."

Joint meeting with Directors of four-year colleges to discuss how to prepare students for transfer. How help, what to change, and how to work together for student success.

Raise visibility with WACTC and IC. Michael Eisenberg would be the preferred speaker.

Information literacy—redefine especially tie to Distance Learning

Finish media services survey.

Pursue our liaison with the State Board (Ron Crossland?) Investigate protocols concerning a closer partnership with the State Board liaison. Improve the relationship.

Education reform. Develop relationship with K-12 system and teachers. Investigate U of W and Seattle Public School’s grant. CLAMS involvement?

In the first year, create a marketing plan including a brochure on LMDC.
