Way, Suite 100, Bellevue, WA 98004. (Driving

Registration: To
register for a class, click the Registration form link
for the class you want. Fill out the form and send it as an email
attachment to the CIS
Training Coordinator. (Note: A
minimum of 10 registrants is required for each class. The training schedule
is subject to change. However, if it is necessary to cancel a class,
registrants will receive a minimum of one week's notice, whenever
possible.)

Actuate e.Spreadsheet Designer Version 9
This class is intended for people without prior e.Spreadsheet Designer training and for those who attended sessions for early versions of this product. Registrants should be familiar with their application data (SMS, FMS, PPMS, or FAS). MS Excel and Access experience is a plus. This class covers: database basics, data source connections, creating and publishing reports, setting parameters, grouping and totaling data, using outlines and charts, using formulas and functions, and formatting a report.
e.Spreadsheet Designer requires a named user license which colleges must purchase directly from Actuate. See the appropriate administrator at your college to make this acquisition. This class does not provide for the purchase and distribution of e.Spreadsheet Designer software. Only those who have purchased or plan to purchase this software should attend this class. Note: Registration for this class requires proof of software installation (see instructions on the Registration form).
Class capacity may vary depending on venue. If the class minimum (10 registrants) is not met, registrants will be notified and placed in the next available class. |

Report Wizard
This class is intended for people without prior Report Wizard training and for those who wish to take a refresher session. Registrants should be familiar with their application data (SMS, FMS, PPMS, or FAS). This class covers: catalog folders structure, search functions, creating basic reports, creating reports with filters, complex filtering, computed columns, previewing report design, running and saving reports. This class also covers navigating and using the Actuate Active portal to schedule, view, download and print reports, and search reports for specific data.
Report Wizard has no licensing or software purchase requirements. It is a web-based product that is available to all staff at all colleges, but must be assigned to an individual by an account manager at the college level. See the appropriate administrator at your college to make or request this assignment. Only those who have been assigned or plan to be assigned Report Wizard should attend this class.
