To go to the Web site of a commission or council in the Washington Association of Community and Technical Colleges (WACTC), click the name of the group.
Implementing Web Sites for WACTC Groups If your WACTC group wants to have its own Web site, there are two options for developing and maintaining the Web site: Self-maintained Web sites With this option, a group obtains an account on a host processor that is owned jointly by the Washington community and technical colleges and resides at the CIS. Publishers of Web pages on this host processor have direct access to the processor and are solely responsible for the development, content, and maintenance of any Web pages they publish on the processor.
CIS-maintained Web sites With this option, a group requests CIS Web and Documentation Services Department to develop and maintain its Web site. In this scenario, the group does not have direct access to the Web site; all additions and changes to content are submitted to CIS through a Web Coordinator designated by the group.
